Our History

The Horizon, designed by the Austro-Australian architect Harry Seidler was constructed between 1996 and 1998. Seidler saw the building as representing the future of high rise living. In 1999 the Horizon received the Australian Institute of Architects Wilkinson Award, recognising excellence in residential architecture. In 2017 the building received the Strata Community Environment and Engagement award as part of the 2010 CHU Strata Community Awards. Learn more about the history of our building here.
